A company born out of an acquisition in 1999, the origin story of Artex Label & Graphics’ is a unique one. A Michigan coat hanger manufacturer with its own printing department was purchased by a competitor. That competitor did not have interest in keeping the printing department, leaving the opportunity for a loyal label customer to buy the printing equipment, which included a 7-inch Mark Andy press. That customer was Terry Gruppen, who today is the President of Artex Label & Graphics.
Despite all the challenges imposed to the print industry in 2020, manufacturing companies and printers have found ways to succeed and grow operationally. This rings true for Rotoflex, a Mark Andy Inc. company of converting and finishing solutions located in Mississauga, Ontario.
Rotoflex has successfully developed and installed a highly customized booklet label machine for American printer JH Bertrand Inc.
