Mark Andy is expanding its involvement in this year’s FTA INFOFLEX tradeshow. To further increase engagement with attendees, Mark Andy is incorporating its latest technology into the primarily tabletop event. For the first time in INFOFLEX’s 37 year history, Mark Andy will be bringing digital press technology to booth 731.
The “Find Your Fit. Expand Your Brand” themed event has a mission to help attendees find new solutions to meet their customers’ demands. Digital One fits the event’s mission perfectly; the entry-level digital label solution was created after surveying hundreds of converters who were searching for a reliable digital label solution that could profitably print micro to short-run labels.
The Mark Andy Digital One hybrid press will be running for attendees during the May 5-7 event in New Orleans, Louisiana. Digital One, launched in 2016, is a small format digital label press designed to produce prime labels. Since its release, over 100 machines have been installed across the globe, with users reporting the ability to take in 35% more work and an 18% cost reduction in overtime, material waste, and consumables.
The press is composed of a digital CMYK toner printing and a flexo deck for spot colors, laminates, adhesives or varnishes. With a pay-as-you-go model, the press is truly an affordable solution for converters looking to expand into digital labels. Live demonstrations of Digital One will be happening on-demand throughout the entirety of INFOFLEX. Jobs coming off the press will showcase VDP and cold foil embellishment all inline.
